This is why my dreams, literally, do come true

Dreams are really weird things. Some cultures used to believe that they could predict the future based on dreams. I am still in that culture. I choose to believe that I am “mildly psychic.” Now I just want to say that this will probably upset people who actually think they are psychic and people who believe psychics are works of the devil. I honestly couldn’t care less. As a mildly psychic person, I take a stand to both of those types of persons. While I don’t believe that you have a dream one night and the next day it has to come true, I do believe that I have dreams and sometimes the next day they come true. So I’m just throwing that on the table, you can take it or you can leave it there.  It’s all your choice. You don’t even have to believe me, but you should just look at one of my examples:

Recently I had a dream that I went into a Target store to look for purses, or something. Whilst in there, I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time that had been trying to hang out with another friend (shout out to Chris “A Cholo” Ochoa). I yelled at Chris and told him that Maggie had been trying to hang out with him and he was a bad friend for not doing so and he said that he would hang out with her. THE VERY NEXT DAY I was hanging out with Maggie and we decided to go out with some friends. Low and behold, unbeknownst to us, Chris was in the group.

BOOM. Did I just blow your mind? You have to remember Maggie had been trying to hang out with Chris for months. And who brought them together? My dream.  Now that’s a rather silly example. But I do have one that will upset probably around three-fourths of superstitious Spurs fans out there.
The night before the deciding game against the Thunder, I had a dream they would win if I didn’t watch any of the game. Well I caved and watched some of the game. And they lost. So I’m not saying I’m at fault for that, but I am willing to take that bullet for the sake of the Spurs and my dreams being correct. I did, however, have this dream that Al Gore caused children in Africa to look like trees. So, I’m not sure that one will come true. But if it does you have me to thank for predicting that.

Okay so I don’t fully buy into it. But it is crazy when you have a dream and it comes true the next day. I bet this makes the people who don’t really remember their dreams slightly jealous. As it should. Sometimes I would rather not dream at all. Some of my dreams are intense almost to the point of switching from psychic to psycho. So the next time you dream, maybe you should pay attention to what happens. Because wouldn’t that be crazy if that one dream where you couldn’t really run because your legs won’t move so you can’t get away from the bad guys came true?

  1. In my recent dream, I was doomed to hangout with Jim Halpert but never be loved by him, and switched from Hogwarts to an old NON-magical home boarding school. I hope these things never come true.
