'This is Why' updates

This past break was fantastic. Even though I was sick for half of it, I still didn’t have to be in class or worrying about some assignment. I started again today and have only had one class so far. I already know, however, that this semester is going to be significantly more difficult than the last. I relied on my natural intelligence and wonderfully good looks to get me through last semester; it worked. I muscled through with a 4.0, except, no muscling was needed, as I pretty much just showed up. I was hoping this semester would be a repeat and just from my one class today I can assure you that I’m about to be thwarted into an ice-cold sizzling pile of college. Great.

But I wanted to update readers on what is going on in my life and what happened over the break and how this will affect the blog.

I got a new bed!

This doesn’t affect anyone but myself, obviously. But I use my bed for sleeping, relaxing, studying; so I need it to be comfortable. And my parents must lie to me about finances to afford this thing but I don’t even care. It’s bigger. It’s better. It’s what I always dreamed it would be. But it also means I get better sleep at night and can focus better on all the things.

I got a new camera!

Like a legit camera. Not some little point and shoot piece of mess. Has interchangeable lenses and everything! Granted, I thought I broke it within 5 minutes of owning it, but that was just the overflowing excitement in me. So expect to see tons more pictures on here! Also, new header soon!

I saw Les Mis!

This makes me more cultured, obviously. I am now a connoisseur about the French Revolution, obviously.

New year, new me, or what?! Now if I could just learn to love to drive, my life would be so simple. But that’s a different story I will tell another time. Sometimes when I talk to you lovely people I feel like Future Ted (aka Bob Saget) from How I Met Your Mother. So think of me as such and I will continue telling you such whimsical stories of what’s to come.
